  1. You have a PM!
  2. Hi, I own a CW1 from July 2008. One of the 2 keys is in very bad condition. It has a lot of scratches and also the buttons are very faded out, so I would like to get a new one. I have seen in ebay 3button HLIK-1T CE0891 keys for sell, with cut or uncut blade and embedded transponder. http://i.ebayimg.com/t/HONDA-ACCORD-3-BUTTON-KEY-FOB-TRANSPONDER-FREE-POST-HLIK-1T-/00/s/MTYwMFgxMTc1/$(KGrHqZHJC!E9rRD!vn5BPb4YyK8vQ~~60_12.JPG I know that the blade can be dissasembled from my old remote and can be inserted in the new remote. As far as I know the key is composed by: - blade for the mechanical lock - RF for the keyless central lock - transponder for ignition (small cilynder within the key) Questions are: 1)What about the buttons? Are they embedded into the RF transponder capsule or can they be taken apart? 2)If they are embedded into the RF transponder capsule, once I have my old blade into the new key, how can I get the new key codified (paired) with my car? I have the other remote that I can use in the process. Codification required is not only for the keyless central lock, also for the ignition. I have seen some instructions in the internet but I doubt if they are valid for CW1 or not. The Instructions I have found are as follows: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These instructions look promising... have not yet tried them though....Honda Keyless Entry ProgrammingThe following are instructions on how to program your remote transmitters for keyless entry. This document provides details for programming a 2000 Honda Civic remote. The same procedure should work for all of the following:1998 - 2002 Honda Accord 1999 - 2004 Honda Civic 1997 - 2004 Honda CRV 2003 - 2004 Honda Element 1999 - 2004 Honda OdysseyThese instructions may also be valid for other years and models. This procedure clears the transmitter codes and creates new ones, so you must program all remotes at the same time, even if one or more is already working.Enter the car, and close all doors. Each of the following steps must be completed within five seconds of completing the previous step. If you take longer or make a mistake, start the entire procedure over again.Insert the key into the ignition, and hold one remote in your left hand. Whenever the instructions say to press the LOCK button, you should press the lock button on the remote for about a second and then release it.Perform each of the following three steps in order, then repeat all three steps two more times, for a total of three times each:1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, marked II. 2. Press the LOCK button. 3. Turn the ignition switch to the Off position, marked I.Do this three times!Next, turn the ignition switch to the ON position (II) for a fourth time.Press the LOCK button again. The door locks should now make a cycling sound, indicating that the system has entered Programming Mode.Press the LOCK button one more time to program this remote. If you have other remotes to program, press the LOCK button on each one in turn. The door locks should make the cycling sound after you press LOCK on each remote. You may program up to three remotes, and they must all be programmed within ten seconds of each other.Turn the ignition off and remove the key. The remotes are now programmed and may be tested. If you've got a trunk/hatch release, hold the button for this function for a few seconds ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Any help will be appreciated. Hola!

Hi, This is my very first message in this forum. I apologize for writing this message in english since I am not able to write properly in german although I am able to read it. I am from Spain, and own an Accord Tourer 2.4 i-vtec Luxury Innova AT from 2008 with 80000 km, which I recently bought a couple of weeks ago. I previously owned an Accord Tourer 2.2 i-dtec executive leather from 2009 which I sold with 40000km. The reason for the change was primarly to return to AT (I had owned AT cars before), and also changing from diesel to petrol was also a plus! I was so happy with the brand and the model that I could not find any better alternative to my accord tourer than another accord tourer :D As soon as I have finished with some slight restauration of the interior and exterior, I will be publishing some photos in the forum. MfG aus Spanien, P.S. I am searching for 18" OEM TypeS wheels. Look for my post in the Market section!
