Honda Accord Type S CL9 153.000 miles = 244.000 km - 6 Gang - Rechts Lenker (RHD) - 6 Airbags - Klimaanlage - Zentralverriegelung - Tempomat - ABS - Elektische Fensterheber - Elektrisch einstellbare und beheizte Außenspiegel - VSA (ESP) - Nebelscheinwerfer - Servolenkung Unglücklicherweise hat der vorherige Besitzer den Originalen K24 Motor gegen einen K20Z2 ausgetauscht, welcher dem Accord CL7 Facelift mit 155PS entspricht. Ein paar Kratzer hat das Fahrzeug, siehe Bilder, aber ansonsten in einem guten Allgemeinzustand. Der Motor läuft gut und Fahrzeug kann Probe gefahren werden. Scheckheft mit Eintragungen der letzten Serives ist da, Stabilisator wurde getauscht und Auspuff Repariert. cleaned the VTC strainer and the VTC spool valve . And also change the crank sensor and tdc sensor from another K24a3 I have laying around here. Didn't made a difference X( Tomorrow I'll check if the timing of the chain is correct and check the valve clearance.

I haven't cleaned the throttlebody , the car doesn't shake or stutter , it runs very smoothly. 4500-6000 rpm is the problem zone. Under and above its good. VTEC works at 6000 like it should. I'm not using Hondata, so I can't see live data. This week I'm going to clean the VTC strainer and the VTC spool valve . And also change the crank sensor from another K24a3 I have laying around here. I'll post my findings here Also check if the timing hasn't slipped and check the valve clearance.

It pulls in every gear, even 6th. But not in the 4500 to 6000 rev range. I bought this car like this. I had a couple of Cl9 before with a Lambda or LAF sensor error and even then they are driving like they should I think if the Cam/crank angle sensor was the problem the car would also be rough on idling and the problem would occur in every rev range right ? I've checked for vacuum leaks, found none. I thought about the catalytic converter as well but then it would be also holding back in higher rev ranges. And that's to the case.

Hi, Mein Deutsch ist nicht super , so wird der folgende Text hier auf Englisch. I have a 2003 Accord Type S which has a significant power los in the mid rev range (4000-6000) I own a couple of these Accords and I know this is not right. low rev and VTEC work good , so does the idling. engine runs very smooth In the first 2 gears its driveable but in 4th gear around 5000 rpm , you can get give full throttle but it's not going. When u shift up and get around 3000 rpm you get accelarate to 5000 again and then it won't climb anymore. I didn't had any error codes beside a ABS error. I've did a compression check, all 180 psi, so that's good oil is good. changed the sparkplugs and coilpacks. changed the airfilter. opened the ECU, no damage. Any suggestions ? I thought maybe a clogged up catalytic converter but then again, after 6000 it's accelarates fine again
