I'll think it will cost from 900-1200€ (7-10.000NOK) for everyting i need. A h22 engine it self with all the electric i need cost in norway 13-17.000 i think. Then I also need new breaks etc.

It's also expensive and hard to get a swap accepted here in norway. norway is a expensive country. :P

at first.. welcome on board ;)

my english ist not really god, but i will try to help you :)

i think 15-25hp will be no problem for the f18b2, its a very stable engine.

the problem is the header, i don't know any tuning shop who sells turbo headers for cg8, because the cg8 was only build for europe.

I have found out today that the exhaust manifold gasket from the F22 engine fits on my f18b2 engine. So i'm going try to order a f22 turbo manifold from Usa it look like it will fit right on.. ( its -0-00-0- ) . That will save me a lot of work on my turbo cg8 project. I'm also going to buy a intercooler and piping to a accord or a prelude...

I only have one problem now. A fuel and ignition system. Hondata doesnt fit on my ecu ( my ecu is a PDA-G01).That is the european. The US accord is diffrent and the ecu's is also diffrent. Does anybody know about a chip or a sytem that works for me? will a p28 ecu from a civic work on my cg8?

Hello. It is now a time for some update on my CG8 Turbo project.

I got everything I need exept new 370cc fuelinjectors, intercooler pipes and a downpipe. My goal is to get the car finish before may.

Here are some of the part list.

Turbo Header

Mitsubishi TD04 turbo

Greddy E-manage Ultimate

Greedy Profec b spec2

Greedy Full auto turbo timer

Obd2b E-manage ultimate harnesskit

Air filter (unknown types)

Intercooler

Carbon gaugepod

Boost gauge, oil temp, oil pressure

etc etc

I have mounted the E-manage ultimate, that is a piggyback. It overruns the stock ecu when you change the signal. The car runs normally, and I can just plug my computer to it and log, change and tune :)

The turbo will be topmounted, sinde the the header is build like that, so I am really excited how it will look like whent its mounted :)

I will try to keep this post updated.. as we start with the building.. :)

Here are some pictures.

I have done it all by my self.. and i'm going to do allmost everything my self. A friend of me are going to help me with the tuning (a/f, ignition etc).

He got experience with honda tuning from before, but i have just learnd everything from reading on the internet to help him.

Here are a picture of his civic with a lot of hp. :) It will be Dyno tested again soon, since he lost the grip from the dyno last time.. ;)

Hi,

how much horsepower does your CG8 got? By the way I think the Type R will be faster ;)

Jepp, nice collection scream ;)

So what the deal? Are the Turbo allready inside and run? What about the Brakes, Clutch and the gearbox? All stock?

Its all stock, but it works fine. No problems yet and I have also used it hard on trackdays ;)

very nice :))

which one is faster?

The ATR got a higher top speed. I have never droven any of these cars higher than 160km/h. (maximum speed limit in Norway is 100 km/t). But the acceleration on the turbo is better since the turbo works from 2700-3000rpm :)

I have'nt got it on a dyno, but i guess 170 - 190 maby.

Hello [scream],

nice project you have. Must cost ya much time, ain't it?

Could you tell us any facts? Speed limit, horsepower and so on...

Which one of the both is faster? The CG8 or TypeR?

Anyway both look very nice!

Thanks. I did use a lot of time on this. But that is only because I did'nt know how to do all this. It's my first turbo project and I had to read alot. But if you got the right parts and know how to do this you can do this on a few days to a week. I did learn a lot of things out of this. And hopefully in the future when the CG8 is sold, will the ATR maby get a enginerebuild and a turbo too.

Hi, can you tell us your setup? Which turbo, engine management, injectors and so on...

Did you change the compression and how much pressure do you run?

By the way, please do not turbo the ATR, the H22A is not good for turbo only if you sleeve the block, and you will also loose the typical Type-R feeling, on N/A for ATR you will love it!!! The F-Series engine is better for boost, because of the lower compression and of course the sleeves which are iron.

The turbo is a mitsubishi td04. I got a walbropump and precision injector 440cc. I use greddy e-manage ultimate, that is a piggyback solution. I want hondata, but its to much job to fit the f18b2. But the emanage works fine for me. I have'nt change the compression. I run on 0,5 and 0,7 bar. I just adjust it with a greddy boost controller.

If I go N/A with the ATR, what do you recomand then? What is your setup?

Here is my setup:

http://www.accordr.org/index.php?/topic/15404-na-atr-coming-soon/

My plan for this:

JUN cams (good for 270hp)

longer 5th gear

P28 with custom chip

It depends on what goals you looking for, how much power, in which powerband and how much you would like to spend.

Wow that sounds crazy! I think the brake is to small for this car. How long the Turbo is allready in the car?

@lil Krazee
